"We Are Opening a Masjid in Costa Rica"

In San José, the capital of Costa Rica, we are preparing to open a new masjid and education center where the local Muslim community can worship, children can learn the Qur’an and basic Islamic knowledge, and families can come together. This 320 m² facility, rented in the Pavas area, includes a prayer space for 50 people, 6 rooms, 3 bathrooms, and a kitchen. It will not only be a place of prayer, but also a vibrant center where daily classes will be held and children and families will connect with Islamic values.

Masjit area for 50 people Daily classes are planned for children aged 6 and above, young people, and anyone who wishes to learn. The center will have a daily class capacity of 20 students. The main focus of these classes will be the Qur’an, basic Islamic knowledge, moral education, and Muslim identity. Allah the Almighty praises those who maintain and support His houses of worship in the Qur’an. Contributing to a masjid means contributing to prayer, knowledge, du‘a, and the faith education of future generations. This project is also a door of Sadaqah Jariyah. Every prayer performed here, every Qur’an class taught, every du‘a learned, and every child raised with faith will become an ongoing source of reward for the donors. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.” Muslim, Wasiyyah Through its masjid services, this center will become a Sadaqah Jariyah. Through its daily classes, it will spread beneficial knowledge. Through the education of children, it will become a lasting source of goodness for future generations. Our urgent need is 10,000 USD to open this masjid on June 1. Let us be a means for a place of prayer, a Qur’an class, and the du‘a of a child in Costa Rica.
